As an Environment Lead, I did the layout work for this street scene, defined different building types which were instanced to populate the streets, and set the metrics for buildings, such as door size, floor height, window size.

I constructed the sunken plaza, as well the Classical-styled building in front and above the plaza.

The building above was constructed using mostly instanced component objects.   These components are nested into a larger subset, thereby speeding up the completion of the building mesh.  The information gathered from working on this building would become the basis for our asset creation process, file organization, and asset metrics.

The images below illustrate my experiments with facade add-on geo that would easily add variation to an existing building type without having to add a whole new building asset.

In the images below, I art directed the final composition and lighting of these street scenes, balancing between a dark menacing atmosphere and game play visibility.
